Come help keep the North Circle Native Garden at FT Proctor Park weeded to keep space for the native plants and trees to fill in. This garden is the least managed of the gardens at the park. It is now growing vigorously in its fourth year, and it is interesting to see what is thriving depending on the sun, shade, moisture and other micro-conditions. As you walk up to the North Circle, take note of the native plant gardens at the entrances to the park, around the Lily Pond, and at the Peace Garden, all designed by WOMV officer Amy Funkhouser. Bring a weeding tool and gloves. Meet in the parking lot of Rutgers St in Utica. RSVP helpful but not required.  [email protected].
