Join us for a special tour of FT Proctor Park led by Amy Funkhouser, co-founder of Olmsted City and designer of the recently established native plantings at the park.  These gardens range from more manicured to naturalistic in style, but all feature plants native to central New York and the surrounding region. Sunny beds are filled with flowering perennials set amongst native grasses for romantic structure. Shady woodland walks come alive with the fall colors of trees and shrubs and the ever-present fall blooms of white wood aster.  See how these gardens come together to create destinations within the larger park landscape.
